ENGG 3030 - Energy Distribution F (3-2) [0.50]

The course deals with the design, modelling and optimization of the most common methods of energy distribution. Major topics to be discussed include electric grid systems and their interaction, feed into grid systems from intermittent power sources, pipeline transportation of gases and fluids, surface transportation on both land and sea. Students will be required to design a distribution system for a specific power source in a given geographic area. (First offering - Fall 2012)
