An introduction to the methods and analyses of Women's Studies. An interdisciplinary feminist and multicultural examination of research about women and the gendered nature of societies and cultures. Areas of inquiry may include psychology, law, science, culture, work, family, violence, health, and sexuality.

textbook is super awesome and the seminars are great because you get to really discuss things- that is if you have a good TA which i did. readings are assigned every week and discussed in seminar. They are usually good stories unless there is an essay to read. there is one paper to write but it is not research based (only from the textbook). Midterms were goos, half from lecture and half from seminar and reading. The lecture material was a bit dry, the teacher was new though.
