Comment :
This course wasn't too hard, but make sure you do your readings, it helps. It might make your life easier to do the readings after lectures as the Professor gives a good summary in classes. Shau NEVER posts his lecture notes, so be sure to attend all the classes you can. Overall a very fair professor and a good class :D

If you are lucky enough to have David Walters make sure to attend every class and start the class assignments well ahead of time. Walters is considerate enough to help you with any questions you have along the way, take advantage of this. Never missing a class and attending his office hours resulted in a mark way beyond what I ever expected. Even if you consider yourself bad at math, there is a possibility for anyone to do really well in this class if you try hard enough.

I had this class with David Walters. He's very approachable and easy to talk to. He's also very easy to listen to, otherwise it would be the most boring class. He's very funny and he really cares about getting everyone to do well. If you do the reading and ask questions, you'll be fine!

Take it with David Walters. I sucked SO MUCH at math and still did very well in this course. Makes boring topics into interesting ones by relating them to the real world.
