This is a very interesting and time consuming course where you will learn to use Flash (you need to check what you will learn in a different term, because it could change) to include it in an art work. So you will have to follow an automated system that requires working EVERY day, or else the amount of work would be unmanageable. You will also have to read a really interesting book to discuss with your class mates and work on it. The final project will be based on the book and your automated system, with a conceptual artistic approach and the use of Flash. If you are ready to graduate this course will be very useful to give you ideas about working alone with no supervision. I do recommend it, but it's time consuming (although not so difficult) and you need some computer skills.

This course was awesome! We developed two android applications! I would totally recommend this course for someone who is wanting to challenge themselves and possibly looking into the field of applications or designing.

We've hijacked the curriculum and are making smartphone apps instead. The course is set up as if it were a functioning design studio with programming and design teams. It allows for a good mix of computer programming as well as digital art students. Being a full credit, there is a lot of demand to use your time and use it efficiently. Great course, can be stressful. Worth the time!
