Comment :
LOVED this course. If you find science interesting but hate ecology, or the any of that high school stuff, rest assure, this isn't that kind of course. The beginning can be slightly boring since your learning about action potential and such but it's all eventually relatable in the later part of the course. You learn about vision, hearing and smell- it's really informative. The exams are EXTREMELY FAIR. If you studied, there's no way you won't get at least an 80. The material is really interesting, I would have not taken it but many friends recommended me to take it and I absolutely am glad I listened to their advice!

Comment :
If you're a science student. This class is SO easy. I took Human Phys the semester before, and phys covered the same topics but in WAY more detail. Trick is a terrible prof... doesn't have lecture slides and basically just talks and will test you on very nit-picky things that she may have only mentioned once. Textbook is a neccessity because she has some info on the tests that she didn't talk about in class. Overall really interesting course and very brain-based.

Very important to take good notes. The exams weren't that hard if you studied. The only downside is Trick is very annoying to listen to, she talks to you like you're stupid.

I love professor Trick. I thought I would do horribly in this course as I am not the best as science based courses, but I actually enjoy it. If you attend class and take good notes, you should be fine!

Thought I would hate this course when it started. Trick was the professor and I was shocked at the lack of technology being used. But writing out notes and following along with her thought processes through diagrams ended up teaching me how to take better notes and I learned the information immediately. As well, I retained the information for way longer. In the end, a very interesting course, even if the focus is brain based. A bearable core psychology course. You need it so take it!
