If you are a visual learner, this course is NOT for you. Based on my experience, The professor opts to speak verbally to the class 95% of the time instead of writing physical notes. Especially with a subject like philosophy it is very difficult to verbally understand the reasoning of great philosophical thinkers like Nietzsche through listening. I will say this, the TA tutorial sessions review material the professor has covered, albeit in a smaller group. These really help.
