HIST 1250 - Science and Society Since 1500 F,W (3-0) [0.50]

This course is intended as an introduction to the history of science and its interrelationships with society in the western world since 1500, including its influence on the environment, religion, economics and political developments, warfare, etc. Particular emphasis will be laid upon scientific developments in the 19th or 20th centuries.

Textbook is not needed, very easy course if you attend all of the classes, your mark will directly reflect the amount of classes you attend, easy online quizzes that are directly from the lectures, exam and midterm aren't hard

I LOVED this course! Prof McCook was very good at teaching it and clearly knew his stuff. One of the reasons I loved it so much was because you don't ever really learn a whole lot about all the scientific achievements in regular history courses. HIGHLY recommended!
