ENGG 1500 - Engineering Analysis W (3-1) [0.50]

This course deals with engineering applications of matrix algebra, vector spaces and computer techniques to solve linear systems. Topics include linear transformations, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, diagonalization and their applications. Additional topics include complex variable algebra, multi-variable functions, partial derivatives, maxima and minima.

Not an incredibly difficult course, but most people find it quite boring (although I didn't). Requires a lot of memorizing of methods, and practicing them. The methods used aren't all that difficult, but they are unlike anything I had done previously. Textbook is a must (if Vanelli is the prof).

Math course. Nasty math course.
If you can't do this stuff, might as well pack it in. Textbook helped when lectures did not.
