So i have mixed feelings about this. I don't know why people loved Griswold, i thought he was hard to pay attention to because he speaks with no enthusiasm. The weekly assignments were WAY too much work to only be worth 4% with lots of question then also a big data analysis that you do in excel too. He doesn't explain the concepts behind the math, so it was hard to understand why things were actually occurring then he would ask on a midterm for you to explain it. Midterm averages were high 70s though, and i went into final with an 83. DO NOT buy the textbook. Waste of money. But if youre looking for a genetics course that is easier then the one in 2nd year..this is for you.

If math and stats are not your strongest subjects, I would highly rethink taking this class. It was completely different than what I was expecting. The prof overall was good, but never really answered your questions clearly. It is possible to get a good mark in the course, you just really have to keep on the material and assignments, and be good at memorizing formulas.
